Resources for Green Trans and NonBinary Folx and Allies

Recently, there has been a concerning trend of resources for transgender and nonbinary folx being removed from various corners of the internet.  At Hidden Water, we are committed to supporting all members of our community, including our trans and nonbinary participants and their allies.

This document serves as a collection of valuable resources designed to assist, empower, and uplift our trans and nonbinary community members. Whether you're seeking support, information, or ways to connect, we hope these resources will be beneficial. Please note that Hidden Water is not responsible for the specific resources shared or the quality of services provided by external individuals or organizations.

If you know of additional resources that would enrich this list, please reach out to us at info@hiddenwaternyc.org.

3) Surviving Transphobia

Edited By: Laura A. Jacobs

Surviving Transphobia is an anthology by transgender and gender nonbinary celebrities and experts on endurance during times of severe hostility. We share the moments when we were vulnerable, were bullied, had needs dismissed, or were discriminated against, revealing our determination and how we have (sometimes) managed to thrive. We offer loving support as you brave agony and seek joy. We also speak to our allies. We are activists, actors, athletes, authors, lawyers, doctors, nurses, therapists, sex workers, clergy, diplomats, and military veterans. We are of many ethnicities. We vary socioeconomically, educationally, and geographically. Some are neurodivergent. Several are disabled or have chronic illnesses. A few are HIV+. A small number were born elsewhere. We have survived, here's how. And if we can survive... so can you.
